The Christmas story is full of amazing people who were part of God’s big plan to bring Jesus into the world. Each person has a special story, and together, they show us how much God loves us and keeps His promises always.
In ‘The 12 Characters of Christmas’ we will learn about:
- Mary – A young woman chosen to be Jesus’ Mother.
- Joseph – A righteous man who followed God chosen to be Father of Jesus.
- Zechariah – A priest who learned to trust God, Father of John the Baptist.
- Elizabeth – A woman who saw God’s faithfulness when she became a mother in her old age, Mother of John the Baptist.
- John the Baptist – The Prophet who told everyone to get ready for the coming Messiah Jesus.
- Angel Gabriel – God’s special messenger who brought the good news about Jesus.
- Wise Men – Travelers who followed a star to worship baby Jesus.
- Shepherds – Simple people who got to see God’s glory in the middle of the night of Jesus birth.
- King Herod – A Roman king who was afraid of losing his power and tried to stop God’s plan by wanting to kill baby Jesus.
- Simeon – An old Prophet who waited his whole life to see Jesus.
- Anna – A Prophetess who praised God when she saw His promises come true.
- Jesus Christ – The baby born as the Messiah and God to prove God’s love and save the world
